01. The Challenge
Migration from the classic general ledger to the New General Ledger (NewGL). The requirement was the system-side illustration of parallel accounting (e.g. in accordance with IFRS).
02. The Solution
Set up and carry out the migration to NewGL. This included defining ledgers, segment reporting, and carrying out the technical migration process.
03. The Result
Successful establishment of parallel accounting (IFRS/HGB). Reducing manual reporting costs by 20% and ensuring the technical requirements for a later S/4HANA conversion.
