S4Digit Quality Advisory

Quality Advisor SAP (m/f/d)

You spot the risk while it is still small.

Why this role exists

No S/4HANA programme fails in a single day. It fails by inches: a decision that gets postponed. A test cycle that quietly shrinks. A status report that stays green because nobody wants to be the one to turn it amber.
‍

That is what our Quality Advisory is for. We look at live SAP transformations from the outside, independent of delivery and with no stake in the outcome other than one: that it holds. And we tell the steering committee what it needs to know, not what it wants to hear.
‍

That only works with people who have delivered themselves. Which is why we are looking for you.

Your day-to-day

  • You get to the bottom of programmes with eight-figure budgets: governance, scope, test coverage, data quality, cutover readiness, team setup.
  • You talk to people from key users to the CIO and find out what the project documentation leaves out.
  • You turn gut feeling into evidence: structured assessments, defensible ratings, prioritised recommendations.
  • You present in the steering committee. Factual, backed by evidence, without the softening.
  • You run quality gates and go/no-go decisions, and you stay involved until the measures take effect.

What you won't find here

  • No assessment from the ivory tower. Anyone who has never taken a programme through a go-live will not see the risks.
  • No standard checklist that treats every project the same.
  • No role where you mainly build slides for other people.

What you bring

  • You have owned SAP programmes yourself or steered them from the PMO. Several years, genuinely complex, ideally S/4HANA.
  • Methodological depth in SAP Activate and in risk, test and cutover management. Classic and agile alike.
  • The ability to read a programme in two weeks that others have been building for two years.
  • Standing: you can hold an uncomfortable statement, and the discussion that follows it.
  • German and English at negotiation level, willingness to travel for on-site sessions.
  • Desirable, not a condition: experience with AI in an SAP context. AI-supported analysis of project documentation and test data, for instance, or the judgement to tell whether the business AI components in a programme's scope are realistically planned.

What you'll find with us

  • A boutique, not a corporation: short decision paths, real authority, no delivery pyramid.
  • Access to decision-makers from your first day on a project.
  • A team that argues its assessments on the merits instead of nodding them through.
  • Compensation that reflects seniority, without the negotiation games.
  • Training based on what you need, not on a catalogue.
